The stringers/rails are 10mm, bulkheads are 1/4" and covering is 3mm.
I just used what I had laying around
Normally I would use 1/4" for all the frame work but thought it wouldnt hurt to have it a bit stronger for my sons first boat.
Im sure he will have his share of crashes while learning!

Lookin' good. Gee you build fast, I understand what Woodie is on about with the fast builds. It shows what happens with a misguided youth, that's how you turn out. I have heard about speed reading but speed building.

I agree with Marc. Considering this should be a "simple build", it looks fantastic!
It confirms my theory for designing planes, cars and boats:
