Killer Kat (Build Pics Updated)

Thanks Isuzu.

You are a true gentleman (as I am too). :)
But remember: A 14 hp Blata with twin drives in a 56" boat is NO gentleman! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Cheers! :cheer:

I believe ya Buddy!!! But like I said, I'm just ready to see them fly!!! Do ya know how many RPMs the Blata is gonna turn? Because you only have a little bit on me as far as power, it's going to come down to weight and sleekness!!!! And of course our driving skill!!! B) So I can't wait!!! ;)

Isuzu.

Engines rpm is 17.400. Through gearbox and the twin sterndrives it's close to 28.000 rpm at each sterndrive.
I guess the most tricky part will be to get the right propellers and the rails in the bottom of the hull in right position and dimensions.
Power or speed as such should not be the issue for me.
I am much more troubled about how the boat will carry that wild engine forward. B)

Cheers! :cheer:

Isuzu.

WOW! I am really impressed!
But how did you get the whole Eart to turn upside down like that? Did'nt you get seasick or fall off the ground? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
How about a pic showing your flyer?

And a suggestion: Cut the pontoons of that killer kat and mount them under the flyer. In that way you get a great sea to air combination!

Cheers! :cheer:

Isuzu.

Just found the pics with your plane hanging under the ceiling. Seems to be the right kind of sports plane for some competition. Beautiful!

However, if I should build a plane some day (you inspired me), it would be a true scale model of a genuine WW2 british Spitfire. I LOVE this plane and think its the most beautiful in the World. So less could never do it for me. :)

Let's keep up the good work on our boats!

Cheers! :cheer:

I'm all over it Woodie...but it's hard to make myself go out into the garage and work when it's freezing outside.... I'm not built for cold weather and I can't stand it!!! But spring will eventually get here, so I will get finished...question is.....WHEN?
