Woo Hoo got in a first run today of the prowler. It went good, it went bad, but i learned a few things. Had problems yesterday with the radio when i found out it was my receiver. Today i finished her up and to lake i went.
First run went well, turning radius was huge so i had to do some linkage adjustments. I also was having some problems get it tuned right. The prop sounded like it was to big, the boat just sounded like it was fighting.
Second run it died out in the water and guess what i forgot my fishing pole to get it back. After some time i got it pulled out of the water found that the fuel line was broke.
third run, fuel line fixed, tuned up a bit better. And guess what it died. Luck me there was some guys putting there boat to go fishing so they went and got it for me.
What did i learn, well one learn how to tune the darn thing better. two fix the fuel lines better and rebuild the carb. Who knows how old that carb is. And three get a smaller prop.
I will get a video up as soon as i can of the first run.
Thanks everyone for all the help with getting this thing built. This is a project that i have wanted to do for a good ten years now.
oh one more thing, to date IM FASTER THEN WOODIE!!!! With a weed eater.
thanks, Dan
