Hi Oz.

Your pic is inspiring to me. Well done. But I think something like this could be build much better as a rugged mono :)

Beware of those cats. I'm a doggy man (monos). WOOF!!! :P

Cheers! :cheer:

I honestly do miss my little 41" mono!
Was crazy to drive in any sort of chop but thats how I like it! ;)
Everyone seems to like the small cats for SAW etc. so if Im going to have molds done it will be for a cat first. Did I mention I now know a professional mold maker?

Awwwww! Your little engine is sooooo cute!

I'm going to have until I get home in the morning, because this piss-poor computer won't let me see the pic. Oz, I still have the 2 sets of plans to send ya as soon as I get the chance B)

OK, time for me to stir it a little... I'm going to have to start calling Woodie, "Woofie" instead :P One thing you have to remember... The hammer is from a mythological story, My cat and Woofie's mono are from the real world... So as I see it, the only competitor I have is Woofie's mono, and not a fairy tail hammer that slings lightning bolts... HAHAHA So I like the odds :silly: But something else to remember, this little "joust" is open to all brave enough to jump in with both feet :woohoo: One and only rule... "SCRATCHBUILT" all else is fair game!!! Do you agree Woodie? I think, more the merrier!!! It you're scared.."Get a dog and stay on the porch" B)

Hi Isuzu and Oz.

Isuzu.
I'm not scared by some cat with supporting wheels at 2x2 small engines (MEOW). My mono will be seaworthy, rugged and filled with power rigth to the edge. So it really makes me sorry to say that you are in for a cruel and humilliating showdown when spring comes and you will meet your destiny (in april 2011). WOOF! WOOF!

Oz.
What does "SAW" mean? Please remember that I am danish and not able to grasp such terms.

Cheers! :cheer:

Woodie, if I'm not mistaking, that refers to drag boats with chainsaw engines.

Thx Isuzu.

But what is a "drag boat"? Some kind of tug boat?
Answer quick. The dead hens are calling me now. :(

Cheers! :cheer:

Woodie.

Added later: I see now. It's like boats with a weed-whacker engine?
Am I right?

Hi Woodie,
A drag boat is a bouy boat dressed up as a she boat, hence :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: DRAG boat.
No, just pullin' your leg.  Drag racing refers to when two cars/boats line up side by side and accelerate from a standing start to race over a given distance, the one with the lowest time (elapsed time referred to as E.T. no not the phone home variety :P :P ) is the winner.
With the SAW racing, it is not about chainsaws, tempers and injuries, it is Straight A Way racing at speed between two points (two hundred feet). They have 5 minutes to run between these points as many times as they like and the highest two way run is classed as their top speed run. These records at the moment are held by outrigger design boats. They have their own classes. Electric, don't hold me to these numbers 146 mph,Glow 120 mph, Gas 114mph or so.
Hope this helps you to understand what all this jargon is all about.

Moofy.

Oh what a drag!

Maybe I should invite Isuzu to an offshore (GPS) drag race? I think this could silence him a bit.
Anyway thx for the information. Nice to get some real information and to get a bit "wiser".
(Off to bed now).

Cheers! :cheer:
