Little By Little is just the right kind of blues for a slow workin' man like me! B)

The 7018/3 SS counter rotating props from Prop Shop has arrived today. They are a work of beautiful perfection!

The only, but most important things still missing now, are the customized engine rails from Steve Seebold. He shipped them allmost 3 weeks ago, and I expect to receive them any day now.
When I get them, I can finally get on with my build.

Cheers! :cheer:

Hi Kenny.

Thanks for the pic. It's a great help for me. Specially regarding the drive connections around the gearbox.
About the engine rails, I still have not received them yet. It's really a pain in the *ss, as I really need them to get on with my build :(

Cheers! :cheer:

Kenny.

Thanks for your concern. I have ALL of the hardware at hand now (not remote control etc.)
What I need is the very important engine rails, that is supposed to be in the post for allmost 4 weeks now. Just beginning to have some serious doubts about the reality of this part.

Cheers! :cheer:

To the many good people, that has been reading my "Smokin' Cigarette" post for more than a year:

I have chosen the hard way to this hobby. No prefab boat. Not even a known wooden boat with drawings to build from. No Zenoah, but a Blata. Also a couple of rare sterndrives.
I find that nothing comes easy, when you do things totally different.
My last problem is to get hold of the very customized engine rails from Steve Seebold.
He made them, I know, because he sent pictures in another thread. It took some time, including a set back due to postal problems, but according to Steve the rails are in the post for real now, and I expect to receive them in a week or so.
When this happens, I can get on with my build - in my own slow way. :woohoo:
As said before, I consider opening a new thread for the Cigarette, showing pics of engine rails, sterndrives, and the further (slow) progress of my build.

Untill then: Cheers to ya all! :cheer:

OH HAPPY DAY! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

The engine rails and lots of fine accessories has arrived from Steve Seebold today!
Right now, I haven't controlled any measurements, but everything looks REALLY fine and OK!
Steve has done a really good job (taking his time, I'm allowed to say), and despite posting problems we have a happy ending!
The conclusion is: Don't hesitate to order from Steve. If you are patient, he will be reliable and WILL do a good job.
So PLEASE give Steve some plusses, when he appears here. I think he deserves it.

Now to the hardest part: I have to clean up my workshop in order to bring photos of the rails from Steve and to get on with my build...

So long, and CHEERS! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
