Hi Isuzu.

I see that you really do a lot to improve the second life of that old cat. I have to admit that it looks even better every time you post new pics.
But remember there is no hurry. You are far ahead in the build, as I still haven't got the essential parts, that I need to continue my own build. :(
When the day comes, your ultimate lesson in boating will come too. So prepare yourself for the big showdown.
Also remember that there is no shame in loosing when facing a true winner.

Cheers and good luck! :woohoo:

Just as long as YOU keep that in mind also :woohoo: I'm not in a hurry... I sent the 2 engines off to Carlos at C C Racing in La. to let him do some mods on them. Should come back One Bad Azz Engine...I mean 2 Bad Azz Enginez!!! Just what every good Mono Killer needs!! I ended up cutting out 6 1/2 pounds while I had the sponson bottoms cut off, should help in freeing her up some. New props and drives, I think this round is going to be alot better than the last results.. but time will tell.

How are your parts coming along... have ya got any updates? Can't wait to see yours get a little farther along!!!

THEN the real fun starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Oh those texans!

Nah! What badazz engines are you talking about? :P Oh! I'm shakin' with fear now! B)
My silly little 14 hp / 18.000 rpm / 9.0 NM Blata geared to twin Z-drives at 27.500 rpms at the props will be beaten off the track - Or will it?
Anyway: Fear no evil for now. As said I'm still far behind right now due to lack of some important hardware.

Cheers! :cheer:

The 2 27cc CY's I had in the boat... I sent them to Carlos, He's going to do some porting work on the intake, exhaust, and transfer ports. He also does porting on the carb block to match the intake port and carb ventura. Lightens the piston and reshapes, port timings are set, installs low drag seals, head gasket is replaced with a .002 copper gasket, and installs a bored and modified Walbro 257 carb!!!! Should make for some Bad engines!!! The man doesn't set as many records as he has without knowing what he is doing!!! I'm like you were when you were waiting on your Blata!!!!

ANTICIPATION!!!!!!!!!!! IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!

Took her out for another run today. No servo problems, 48.0 MPH...Getting there little by little! Problem today... either vibration or bad bonding, I was getting water in through the bottom of the sponson!!!   I took about 1 degree out of the drive because it was hopping just a little bit. Same top speed... very little hop. B) Much better!!! Have got it completely stripped down now to sand and reseal... more to come later this week....

Dude!

Never give up! I really think that your mean old Kat made a fine run on the video. Honestly!
Remember that you are far ahead of my still unfinished Kat Killer, so you have plenty of time to make the Kat run at least 60 mph...
If you try barking like a dog, it might speed up...

Cheerio old boy! :cheer:
