Well I have done a little more to the hydro! ;)
Now has a front air dam to air out the centre rear of the hull.
Also another roughed out top to allow more room for carb/pipe clearance so a hidden pipe can be used if wanted, was going to leave the exhaust side(VENTS) higher for clearance but it looks wonky so I will take them both down the same as there should be plenty of room!
There is now enough room to run twin inlines anyway! :woohoo:

Hi Oz!

I'm really impressed. Do you shape by CNC or by hand? And what is the "technical" term for that foamy stuff, that you use? Most foam stuff melts down, unless a special glue is used.
The top is beautiful. Looks like you're inspired from sharks?

Cheers! :cheer:

Thanks Isuzudude! Will get a side picture for you today! ;)

Hey Woodie, no CNC for me I have to do it all by hand!
It is actually polyurathane foam, well I was watching monster garage last night and they were using the axact same stuff to carve bits for the jet boat roadster! B)

Hi Oz.

No CNC for that fine design!? Thats some good craftmanship!

The polyurathane foam we have here too, but it's only made for insulating buildings, and seems much more "loose" and bubbly than your product. In other words: Impossible to carve with precision. :(
It's no must for me at this moment, but if I get to building in foam some day, I will have to take a closer look at the products in my place.

Cheers! :cheer:

Well I did get all mine from a construction site, so Im guessing it can be purchased in different densities.
Really easy to shape with plain wood files!
course rasp takes it down really fast, fine rasp to get the finish I have!
I will use sand paper to smooth it out further before doing the first resin coats! ;)
Still fighting with mother nature at the moment, had 2 good days now its raining again!

Havent been able to get a lot done as it has been way too wet to work outside with this hull! :(
Have managed to get some micro balloons on though and started sanding back again! ;)
Couple of pics.
