Inline FF-Rigger

Hannibal created the topic: Inline FF-Rigger

Dear friends,

I always read about the Warpath rigger and I think its a really good Rigger but last wintertime I decided to built a Firefighter's Rigger.
Its my first rigger and an inline engine was a must! I watched already lots of nice videos from the 2 cylinder engine riggers. Fascinated of that I needed such a nice toy too.
As I told you its my first rigger but not my first hydro. So I have already some experience how to built and setup a hydro but during my rigger built I learnd alot and the next rigger built will be very soon! B)
Now some pics for you from current status of my FF rigger. Almost finished.

Feedback is allowed. ;)

Thanks and greetings.

You certainly have built a nice one!

Maybe this is the link to Firefighter Boats ??? :

Please keep us posted as to max RPM with your
engine and top speed as well.

Don't forget to be super careful with her - she
really is not a toy. Have fun!

Hi,
Youre right. Its exactly this Rigger but the main hull is 10cm longer.
Maybe this Rigger is not up to date but I guess this Rigger have lots of potential.
First run will be without rear sponson to check the handling in curves. If neccessary I will have the next rides with rear sponsons.
Props will be ABC 3118-2, 3216-2 and 3317-2, made by Scott.
@Scott: Thanks again for these nice props!
Right now the engine is not modified but later I will modify by myself.
I want to see the differences between Stock and Tuned!

Hi guys,
Yeah I'm also so very interested in how She will run!!!
But I guess there is always lots of things to do and to setup before she wiil be able to reach the 100mph ;-)
A Rigger normally does not work perfect during the first runs but I'm looking forward to find the right setup and then will see what's possible with this nice Lady!
@Scott: Does your Lady run satisfying already? Maybe you have some setup instructions for me?! Would be great...!

My Inline is still right at @ 80mph, not been out but once sense resolving the drive cable / shaft issues and replacing the 3 props lost.

Honestly VERY happy with performance and handling at this point and when crunching numbers on RPM and prop pitchs figure speed for oval racing likely to be mid 80's so I am really close.
