WOW! What a fantastic design! Finally something else!
I have no bad critics at all besides that the front part of the canopy maybe should be a bit more "edgy" to fit the rest of the boats design. But that's really just a detail to me.

Questions:
- Will it hold a 40 cc Blata without "breaking the roof".
- When will it be in production?
- What will the price be?
- Can it be shipped to Denmark?

Please keep us informed.

Cheers! :cheer:
Woodie.

Added later: If the boat is a scale model, you should not change the canopy.
But you might consider the size of the "cuts" through the bottom. In the original boat they are nessecary to give lift because the engine (weight) is in the rear end. To a MGB with the engine placed more forward, it could cause "overplaning".
- Just a thought.

yes it should hold a blata or similar but i realy feel an inline twin rcmk, or even twin rz254s, i am going to try and fit twin twins (L+R), perhaps a turbine could be an option?

the hull should be around the £600 mark for glass, the steps in the hull have been re sized (shrunk) also if CoG is a problem i have found it benificial to put as much hardware as possible in the stern area, i wall also stagger the weight of the glass or carbon along the length of the hull, lighter for the bow area mid weight fot the steps and slightly more weight around the engine and high stress sections, transom area and plaining pads.

Hi Gasworx.

It seems that you really laid some thougths and considerations into this boat, and I am very interested in following the project as it evolves, so please keep this thread updated with pictures and descriptions during any progress.
Most of all it will be interesting, if you some day could bring some data and videos of test runs.
If it turns out well, I am allmost sure that you have a true buyer here in Denmark.
Untill then keep up the good work!

Cheers! :cheer:

thanks woodie, i have got a guy to cut the cad plugs on a 3D cnc machiene out of mdf, i am just wating until i have enough funds to pay for it (£3000), i am trying to get sponsership but so far i am having to do it all by my self, bieng 25, maried with a 10 month old baby, renovating a house as well as working full time and surfing, things have been moving slowly, i think i am having the hull plug cut next month so i can make a start on plug preperation ready for molding.

i have got another project on the go also
