Clean that inline fuel filter. There is a small screen is the carb also, clean it. Then buy a kit and rebuild the carb. Get a new heat dam and gaskets. Heat dam gave me a lot of trouble on 1 had til I figured it out. There good motors.

If you read it - he DID rebuild carb - that's the PROBLEM - look at pictures he has wrong carb/isolator gasket on - the pulse hole is blocked which is why it will not run

Why would you stack 4&3, If you can just use 5? Seems it would make it thick?

You can run just blue #5 if you want - as to stacking (4 & 3) them I have them that way since I read the item I posted (from Daniel Place) and have never had a issue - they are pretty thin.

Try it - you see still fairly thin.

Do it which ever way you are comfortable with.

Cheers

I rebuild zama, walbro, tilliston all the time. And just have never seen it done that way? Always wondered why some extra gaskets/diaphrams were in the kits. Never thought about putting them together like you said! Went to a zama class back in the 90's. They basically said replace what's in it... I still have lots of those "extra diaphrams" The next unit I get in the shop i'll try it. It will save me some on kit costs!! and my customers will still get a rebuilt carb!!
Thanks and Cheers also!! :)
