I busted up my boat being a twit near the bank (not busted up, just bent a few things really). To be honest if the 4-40 rod hadn't bent and the plastic servo horn broken, I wonder what further damage may have occurred had I had tougher components. I sort of look at them now the same as the shear pin. Weakest links going first saved the servo being torn from it's mounts I think. I enjoy reading your posts however, and look forward to picking your brains once I purchase a lathe of my own one day. It's only the internet guy's, take what you want from it and leave the rest.

I use this. No flexing no bending. Works like a champ.
