I took the job to make Woodie's engine rails a few weeks ago knowing that I had a larger machine coming.

Well the new machine has arrived and I have done a couple of small jobs to get familiar with it, so now it's time to start making Woodie's engine rails.

I finished the first one about 20 minutes ago, and I'll be pretty well in to the second one when it'd time to shut everything down for the night.

Here is a picture of the first engine rail. Oh yeah, here's a picture of the machine too.

Looks great... now maybe Woodie can get up off his azz and get some work done!!!!

Steve - what can I say, except sorry for beginning to mistrust you.
Your work looks just like I wanted it. It's beautiful! Waiting for the finished rails will be hard for me. - BUT please take your time to get the rest of the stuff right too.

(Don't mind Isuzu - He's just beginning to get really scared of my HAMMER now)!

Here's both rails sitting next to a 24 inch scale.

I'm going away for the weekend so I'll put the pockets on the other side Monday. I should have the rest of the parts finished by the end if the week.

Finally Woodies boat is that much closer to joining the fray.

This is next. They'll be available around the end of September. Maybe a little before.

They'll be $85.00 plus Priority Mail.

Then there will be a rudder standoff with internal plumbing. That will be available in October, and there be standoffs for single and dual water pick ups.
