To me the building part is probably the greatest part. But if you share it with someone - like a son, it becomes even greater. It's really "mens stuff", and age is not that important.
In my case I am the "old woodie boatbuilder" supported by my enthusiastic 28 years son, who is the young marine engineer ready to sail the oceans (!)
Could it ever be better or more perfect?

And Oz: I still think that you should lift the front of the middle part of the deck to get in level with the pontoons deck.
It's more simple to build, and in my opinion it would also improve the handling of the boat, as "dipping" can be avoided.

About that centre front deck, it looks good to me . The deck is so high out of the water that the sponsons will dig in first and only if the waves are high enough. :blush:
