This is to inform NAMBA members of a change in insurance coverage. NAMBA no longer covers your boating activities at sites other than NAMBA registered club ponds.
You do not have to stop boating if you are required to have insurance as you have a few options depending on your conditions
You do not want to disclose the location of your pond. You can join the AMA and have the landowner and you covered.
If you can not meet the member requirements for a club pond then you can use the AMA.
If you are already an AMA member you do not have to take further action as you are already covered.
If by law you are already exempt...
If you care to make your pond public, have the land owners permission to start a club and can meet member requirements then you can register your pond with them and your membership will cover you.
You have options, you do not need to give in to internet bullies insisting you give up your privacy.
