The Southern Ontario Model Boat Club will be hosting the 4th Annual "Dashwheel Sprint" on June 29th at Tilbury Ontario’s Northside Park. This is a great race site with a permanent drivers stand in a municipal park with a walking trail, and lots of pit and parking available.

• Paid Registration deadline to make a class is June 7th . By this date there must be (5) paid registered boats to run the class.
• Novice class is free and there is no minimum entry requirement, please email me with novice entries if using rcracingevents.com
• We will accept walk up registrations for live classes up until the day before the race

• Race will be run in shoot out format, winners will be the highest accumulated point totals for all heats.
• 1/8 Scale will be run as a winner take all final
• Controlled open water on Saturday June 28 after setup till 5 pm
• Racing begins at 8 am drivers meeting at 7:45.
• Heat size will be maximized (6 boats heats will be the goal if possible). Class size is limited to 12 boats
• Open classes - any IMPBA legal gas, nitro electric

Great opportunity to test drive the Northside track before the Northern Nationals August 22-24

I'm hoping to make it! Can we trailer camp on site the night before (Saturday night)?

We are still in the process of trying to get an exception for camping at the park. I will let everyone know if thats available as soon as I know
