Warpath Instructions -Revised

whitefish created the topic: Warpath Instructions -Revised

Marc:

The Warpath Instructions are amazing. These are
some of the clearest and most concise R/C boat
instructions I've ever looked at. The combining
of precise english with supporting graphics in a
logical flow pattern is to be commended - it's harder
to do than many of us realize. Nice work!

Marketing Suggestion: Why not make the Warpath
available two ways?
1. The complete kit as it is now.
2. The printed instructions with full size paper
templates for those who prefer to scratch build.

I have been wanting to do this for a while but really want to make sure there are enough out there running successfully first. Even with the kits I was worried a bit that some might not get built correctly and give the boat a bad rep. So far things are progressing well but I dont want to go too fast. I will try and make plans available in due time though. Have to find a print shop that can do them at reasonable cost or work out a way to do them myself here.

Thanks for the kind words and input.

Understood.

When the buyer knows the instructions are first
class (like Warpath) many will buy the complete
kit and use the parts as templates.

I have done this with a Zippkits V-Box and it didn't
bother me for one second to not assemble the original
parts. Being an RC beginner that has been around full
size for several years, I knew that I would be
better of learning with a tad heavier boat than one
of Joe's super light Crackerboxes.

Please don't think I'm suggesting that your parts
aren't good. I'm not. I just know how stubborn (me
included) some of the scratch builders can be.

Better stay busy on that inventory Marc. I've got a
feeling you are going to be shipping a bunch of those
Warpath kits.
