Well guys, I didn't get to take videos of my rigger running, was too busy testing and racing, but I have to say it ran very well! It's heat racing right at about 70 mph (keeping it pretty conservative and propped accordingly) and running with the big boys. I raced it in London against some fast SGs and even a Grim rigger. I basically stayed behind on the starts and just chased everyone to see how it would handle being pushed hard. I'm happy to report it held it's ground very well. Let's just say I wouldn't get passed on the outside if I took the starts!
My goal was not to win the races, but more to beat up on the boat and see what it could take.
I'm very happy with the results and will be building a few over the winter to start getting some out there. If there are guys out there that would like to try one please let me know. For the time being I will offer only pre-built boats (at a discounted price for the first few that go out to guys that will put them to the test and report back with results...hopefully these guys can take some video too...water is all hard here now...been so for a little while). I'm hoping to get them into the hands of racers that run year round at first if possible. If interested PM or Email me. I will work out the pricing shortly, but it will be a very good price for a quality built rigger (for guys serious about testing them for me).
There is one thing I want to change on the rigger though and that is that I want to try and incorporate a built-in carb shield into the tub...working on that right now.
I plan on offering CNC cut kits eventually also. Just want to get some more out there first to get good solid feedback on them.
