26cc Kawasaki, first run.

Well all back together after a good clean inside and out(lot of carbon)lost the head gasket, had a play with the ports. Stock muffler box from a blower, only carby I had with no low end needle(WALBRO WA226) using the alloy iso block I made for it.
Waiting now till I can find a decent carby for it, and hopefully a pipe.

Awwwww! Your little engine is sooooo cute!

Looks like you have it running pretty good. Now she needs a hull.

This will be going into the hull I built for my son (A Simple Plan)
Thought the motor will be the closest thing to a stock Zen that I have so should be a good setup to test the hull with. ;)

Hi Oz.

That machine sounds really good. It has a nice roar to it! :)
Only thing: I have heard that a motor should never be tested without the exhaust, as this could damage the motor by exceeding the max rpm's.
For my part I would never do that with my precious Blata.
But maybe I am wrong?

Cheers and good luck! :cheer:

Has the muffler box on it so I doubt it would exceed max rpm.need to hook up my tacho and see what she's doing though.
A tuned pipe will help the motor to rev higher, compared to stock muffler.
What is max RPM anyway? Everyone mods thier motors to get more top end. ;)

Hi Oz.

To tell the truth, I am not the expert when it comes to motors.
But I guess the absolute max rpm is when the lid blows flaming off the motor.
I have been told NEVER to test the Blata at the recommended max 17.400 rpm without the exhaust set on to provide some counter pressure.
So I will not try doing that experiment with a 1.300 $ engine - no way Hosé! :P

But anyway:

Cheers! :cheer:

I dont blame you mate! Too nice a motor ya have there! ;)
Somewhere around here I still have a homelite top end we blew off running in a boat.
Too much compression, too many rpms, 2 stroke AVGAS! the same old story.

Thanks mate.

I'm off to the workshop for now. Have to figure out how to fit the engine rails to the angled bottom and all the spants.

C.U.Later
