hi guys,
finally the weather has let me get out and get a few runs in on the two test rigger hulls, these will give you a quick look at how the testing is going,as better footage become available i will post it,the stock rmck evo rear exhaust rigger(yellow one)is running a 2816/2,need to tune the engine setup abit more and try a few more props but these engines run great and with modding these will go really good,

the other rigger (white one) is running a quickdraw rear exhaust engine,2816/2 prop and this engine has just had the rings and piston replaced so brendons running it in,but still looking good and with a bit or tweaking should start to see some good speeds, the hull tracks well also

Nice! The power of the QD setup over the RCMK is very noticeable. (and some say the billets aren't much stronger!!! lol) Anyway, can you tell us what was different between the two riggers aside from the power? I like the video of the white one better, but probably just because it's faster! :) It does look heavier though. Very nice riggers, and I would be very proud to get that kind of results from the first time in the water! I've seen production hulls not run that good. Congrats! Keep us posted please.

hi marc,
thanks for the comments, the hulls are the same except for the carbon booms, the white one has round booms and the yellow aero section booms, the white one weighs just over 12 lb and the yellow one about 12 3/4 lbs, strut depth and set up on both hulls are the same, the sponsons are set the same angle of attack also, that motor of brendons isnt running as strong as it usually does so he pulling it down to check it out,i had a better run with the yellow one but we didnt get any video of it,everytime i put a bigger prop on the yellow one the speed increased, its was a shame i got water in the radio box as i was about to run a 2914/2 and that prop should put it over 60 mph,
more testing, but looking really good, these hulls are also gelcoat/polyester,

I talked to Mike of LRB and he is also working on a rigger in this same style but is will be for a side exhaust motor!
So it will be a universal rigger Rear or Side exhaust options. Very nice!

hi rcer,
should have the sideport test rigger all together later this week,it has a modified deck to allow for the carb and exhaust, there are a few small changes with the cowl, mainly the back half,so there will be two tub options,a rear exhaust kit and a sideport kit, should have some sideport test footage soon as,
