Thanks Scott. As of now the plan is NOT to race the boat (yea yea i know) as i dont really want to risk it getting damaged. Its also a Gen1 so dont wanna have to slow it down to finish heats lol. The goal for it is just a simple FAST oval boat i can enjoy when not racing the cat.

Thanks Marc. No credit to me on actually building it... this boat was scratch built by someone in ohio like 3-4 years ago and never rigged or put in the water. I just finished the assembly and gave it some color.

What props have you tested on yours sofar? My prop selection is low right now.. going to test a pitched up 2714/2 and a 2716/2 20* that i have on it, and will probably throw a mod 1475/2 i have on it just for grins to see what will happen.

Mine was only in the water a few minutes actually. Ran out of daylight, it was my last boat to test that evening. Soon as the rain goes away I will get back out to the lake and test some more. I was running a 6719/3 from Propwork West. Looks fast! I should have one or two 2716/2 to try also, but I'm really going with what Brent is recommending...his props rock! Wait till I get video of my new Conquest up too!!!! FAST!!!:drinks:

I rig my whip a little different than most, and have found the 6518/3 #435 Austin mod to be wicked fast and very VERY good handling.
2716/2-10* is the norm and likely a great place to start :dance2:
