Iv'e got an update for the 84in cat fans. A new, lighter, stronger layup. I'm utilizing 2mm coremat between lam's in built like the big boy's fasion. The hull and decks will come in at 22-25lbs. for a 7' x 2' cat. the pic I'm posting is a build in progress just prior to wetting out the coremat. And another prior to wetting out the final hull lam'. Tests have revealed a 1-2mm deflection over a 5" span in samples (5" being the sponson width at bottom).

Been away for awhile. The last hull from the mold, all though light and strong, was way too rigid for the draft-(s) in the mold. A serious stuck part resulted. The hull survived, the mold, well, may have to re-tool. I'm sold on the lam. schedual though 19lbs. for hull deck and hatch, may get better with vac. bagging. For the smaller cat, the plug's in the process now. Nearing 60" with a beam of 22" should be a rocket with stock twinns.Pricing will be in the low 3's if built in epoxy. I'm obviously not in it for the money, just like to build I sappose.
