Cajun Bullet Video

marc created the topic: Cajun Bullet Video

Finally got to test my Cajun Bullet...what a blast!!! Powered by CC Racing Engines Zenoah 260, Powermaster Pipe, ABC prop from Doug Dalme. Runs pretty good!

Here is a short video clip...

Smoken right along nicely .....

Only thing I notice is prop hop at the lower speeds. A tad bit less lift in prop may keep it hooked up better ?

Looks really good Marc.

You are correct Scott...it is indeed hopping a little bit at times...I noticed the nose come real close a few times...I was thinking of raising the strut just a little bit, what do you think? My next move would be to cup the tips a little more if the strut adjustment doesn't cure it. I do have the strut about 1/16 inch lower than it was initially, and I think I caused this hopping. I will get some time to test again next weekend hopefully and I'll see what I can do. Hopefully get some rougher water too. :)

I didn't GPS it, but I did run and GPS my Conquest..it was doing 57 on this flat water, and the rigger was MUCH faster!!!

Marc,

The riggers ride attitude looks right on, no wiggle. bobbles or waving at speed.
It it were my boat, would leave the strut alone and just work on some minor prop tweaks.

Your so very close :woohoo:
