Khaled, What prop is that you running and what is the pipe length set at ??? looks like you could lift the strut a little bit. dosen't sound like the engine is revving hard.

Very nice build! The boat still has a lot more in it! You can tell just by the sound...even if it's a stock 260. I have never really run stock in a boat, so it's hard to recommend a prop here, but keep in mind that the 6717/3 is a VERY popular prop with these boats, BUT usually with mod engines. You might consider something a little easier to push..... but anyway, as suggested raise the strut and see where that takes you. I have setup some cats that liked the strut very high, and we had to use struts with a skeg in those instances to reduce prop walk, but the engine revved out much more and the boat was better/faster. Also since your engine is stock you will be tuning the pipe for 13-14k RPM range so keep that in mind. :)

From the looks of it, I'd say the boat was moving in the low 40s max, and I think properly tuned it will run in upper 40s easy...probably low 50s with the stocker. So don't give up! Keep us posted. :)

Start with 2 on Low and 1 on High... fine tune from there, but final setting shouldn't be much different than that for a stock 257. I would not go below 7/8 on the H.

Just my opinion here.....Even raising the strut.....the gas tank is kinda big for that boat and being up front will cause the boat to run wet even with a high strut.
Heres what I have and would suggest. 500ml bag or smaller tank that fits behind the bulk head.
Having a stocker , this will help with the less power and still get it aired aout and in the 55mph range with that 6717/3blade. My buddy runs a stock 260 and still turns up 15k on RPM.

ABC 2914 or 3014 would be my first choice. These props work "every time" have great success with them.

Nice Boat !!
Probably won't get much RPM's with that Wrap to center header either.. Try a 7016/2 prop shop prop.. Also would try an IV bag like Wally mentioned for the fuel tank..
