Went and did a 2 day scale race in Chehalis WA last weekend. There were 5 different scale classes. 1/10 electric , 1/7 electric , 1/8 electric, 1/8 Nitro and 1/6 gas. 6 gassers showed up and it was a fast field. Nobody could hang with the old 1959 Maverick though. I won 8 of the 10 races ( did not start 2). In the Saturday Final I had a coil ground come loose around lap 3 and started loosing power. made for an exciting finish.
