Gas Scale Build

lohring created the topic: Gas Scale Build

I got a request for details on my NAMBA two lap record holding gas scale boat, the $ Bill. The article on the build is Scaling Up in the NAMBA Propwash. The sponsons and turn fin area has been seriously beefed up since then. Below is the list of parts and hardware I used as well as suggested items. There are a lot of choices, but I listed suppliers I had personal experience with. Pictures on a following post.

A special thanks to Brian Buaas for props and engines as well as for losing a cat fight at the NAMBA Nationals that supplied some slightly used Seducer hardware.

Lohring Miller

Thanks Lohring, that helps a bunch because I have 2 sets of parts for this same hull sitting on my bench ready to start assembly. Too much other stuff going on at the moment. My boats haven't even seen water yet and probably won't for another month or 2.
