This is not a winterproject as it is already 80% finished, but probably it will get finished during this wintertime.
Base is a N-Box Crackerbox from Zipkits. I added some modifications to give it a different look;
- more tumblehome stern
- rounded the stern
- put the cockpit a bit more forward
- installing own rc-box (featured on MGB)
- creating my own hardware (featured on MGB(
(except for the strut, rudderblade and cnc-ed rudder-hinge plate)
- most distinctive, the added deck and cowl for the engine bay
There are already some Zipkits described builds to find on the internet, so I will not go into the construction. Although I can state that indeed it is very easy to build. Also for somebody who has no experience in scratchbuilding boats. I took extra care in covering every spot of bare wood with epoxy so it will hold up in time. It has a Zenoah 260 (light modded) with a Jeroen tune silentpipe with side exhaust. The exhaust on the side of the hull is fully functioning and watercooled. Still dialing it in but it likes a smaller prop (6717-6518) running at 50+ mph.

What is left to do;
Railing
Cleats
Fitting vents on aftdeck (now I can only run with the cowl of)
Dummy dash and steeringwheel
Dummy hinges for engine bay deck
Some more detailing in engine bay and dummy V-8 for Zenoah
Like to thank Harold for these excellent pictures;
He liked it also so he is building a V-Box with some of the same features;
