Recieved your mail about the drivers. Unfortunately the driver of the pack wears sports an amber bubble eye shield versus the open face style.

That is unfortunate, what scale are you looking for? I will keep an eye out while I search for a cowling for this boat.

I did not use any plans for this build. I carefully measured all the pieces from the 1/12 Osborn kit prior to assembly and using my trusty square and compasses, reproduced the pieces at twice the size on paper. I then glued the paper to the ply and had at it. There was a fair amount of fiddling and tweaking to get it all to come together.

The only thing I would do differently next time is build a jig before assembling the frame. No matter what I did I could not pull the frame into perfect square. As far as can tell, I am 2mm out of square on the diagonals over the whole length of the boat.

Thnkx for the link Hugh, I will definitely be looking at one of those drivers to finish off the build.
