Right now my buddy Marc has my rear ex rigger (a swedish T-Rex) for painting and doing some glassworking on the cowl. This rigger will be powered by an engine what Scott built for me; a RCMK rear ex with J&G topend. Hope to run it in afew weeks...
In the meantime I found some time to work on my Warpath rigger what Marc Levac built for me.
And for this Warpath rigger I want to use my own engine. Yesterday I assembled it so it is ready for mounting.
After some really good talks to Carlo last year at the GasNats I started with the work on the transfers, transfer bridges and eyebrows. This was a very time consumpting process, especially sanding the transfers...
And after reading Dennys (Hot Rods) thread about grinding the head bottom with a selfmade tool I also tried this step to my engine.
I ported the exhaust side to 183°.
The intake port is widened and I cut the piston skirt on the intake side to 153°
Of course the piston is lightened on the inside and I reduced the diameter of the piston on the top.
The carb is one of my own modified WT257. I use a CC aluminium intake isolator and matched it to the intake port.
The case a billet case what is produced by my buddy Sebastian. He is an artist at the CNC machine. I just matched the the case to the cylinder.
I use a RCMK stroker crank and setup the squish to 0.4mm (0.015'') by using a 1mm (0.04'') copper gasket.
So this is what I ended up...
