Here is the 57 Bardahl thunder boat I am building for a friend of mine. Made all from scratch using Newton Marine plans. 55 in long, 24 in wide. Made the cowl myself, this is the first one off the mold. Still needs all the motor and hardware installed but the hard part is done!

WOW Keno!
This is such a beautiful build! I really admire your craftmanship!
I see a fake engine, but how will you find the space for the real engine and the rest of the hardware?
(Well I guess you will demonstrate that as you proceed into the hardware).
Also I like the homepage www.newtonmarine.com/misc.php
I really wish someone could direct me to a similar homepage with drawings of (huge) fast mono hulls to build in plywood.

Thanks guys. Woodie, The dummy motor is actually off my Miss Spokane. We don't have one for this boat yet but it will look almost identical. I got it from classichydros.com. it's carved out in the middle to fit right over the stock Zen. When it's on mine you can see the spark plug boot sticking out. There's a little tab that fits under the deck in the front of the engine bay and 2 rubberbands that hold the rear of it down.
