Hi There,
Nice Boat , How did you fill the seams in ??? is that Ron Buck Hardware on the back ?? Also how does it run without trim tabs ???

insane removed the seem the hardware is seebold almost done with radio box jeff at insane says you dont need tabs my other two monos have tabs would be nice to run a mono with no tabs see what happens

I have run an insane mono since 2004 (just recently retired it). It was a gen2, but basically the same boat except for cowl. I loved mine and always ran it without tabs. Some guys are running them with 4 tabs with great results too though, but you can competitively race it without tabs. As far as I know Jeff still races his tabless.

Cheers for that am in the process of setting up an Insane Gen II mono with a QD HR Engine, And hope to run it tabless.

well all done ready for break in and tunning any good sugeations on a heat prop i have the standard 7016 2 6717 3 472 2
but i am running a sikk witch has a differant tourqe curve and more tourqe then my zen i am running any help would be great thanks

if you are going for just speed... try a 1475/2 or MW3. My gen1 mono ran 57.7mph with a MW3, and with some more tweaking might have went faster. The 472/2 is a hard prop to beat for heat racing.
