Here the deck rail and the added bulkhead also as you can see the bottom of boat keel is hardwood to do this i first cut the bulkhead 1/8 then add a 1/4: hard then sand to hull.has you see the deck rail run from the back stern to the middle bulkhead which i raise to deck high and the radio box have two cover one for hardware and one for top .I also add 3" of fiberglass into on the keel .Now i waiting for item to finished this framework

Hi all it came down to running this boat with electric motors and I cannot find any place to run it on LI NY only salt water so I go with a Leopard L4074 2200KV 4 pole brushless motor or Castle 2028 780kv any set up will use these battery and ESC
ESC: Castle ICE 200hv up to 12s Lipo
Batts: Flightmax 5s 5800 30c's x 4 for 10s2p.
Electrical horse power is 745.7 watts = 1 horse-power
aluminum adjustable stinger drive for 1/4" shaft (VERSION 2) with teflon bushings inserted. Stinger length adjusted. Ultra strong. Anodized in silver. Suitable fro 45" - 62" and onwards deep v. Specification: see picture Alos check out this video on 51" GT 3rd run, Castle 2028 = 63.9 mph! ,this set up of 8lb boat

There's a club that runs at North Pond in Hempstead. It's right next to the entrance to the Southern State Parkway at exit 19. There is a race there this Sunday as a matter of fact. Doug

OK as you see i did a lot to my 48" wildthing . I got the primer on and the red paint on top/ bottom/side in back and the front is just gray primer still looking into what color to use in front and the Stripe to put in between the two color .I carbon fiber the back and half the bottom where the red is and fiberglass the rest also add carbon fiber where the engine floor still need to carbon fiber the side on engine rail .Got the CY 26cc motor add the Aluminum engine mount & clutch system .Here some picture of it

Nice project
I use those mounts on a few - I mount rear mount other way round (looks upside down to me) might be hard to get your engine low enough in back with them like that

Just thought I would meantion it - I'm sure that way will work just fine

yes u are right about the mount it just that way for me to breaking in engine and use the bottom hole to hold the engine onto the engine stand .Yes the engine mount from .HOR racing is nice but i still waiting for the bell from them .Nice set up u have there
