I guess during the change of forums the threads on the old forum were lost.
Back in January I purchased what I thought was an Aeromarine Cyclone. After winning the auction I realized that the boat was not an Aeromarine but a splashed copy of their cyclone.

I fought and lost in trying to return the boat. I decided I was $200 into the hole already I might as well build it.

Here is the before pics:
The hull was squashed and tweaked. The right sponson was 3/4" shorter than the left. The deck was joined 3/4" lower on the right than the left.

Hull and Deck split took a week of grinding with a dremel.

Today..
She's almost done. It's taken me 8 months to get this project to this point.

Congrats for not giving up! You've done a great job!

What kind of person would even try to sell a POS like that? What a shame! But you did a good job with it.
