So how bad did it bust up when u dunked it??? Did u get ur new HD model of that hull yet???

You never did answer the question before (on the Dock) of "How many twins you have had before this one - as you and Tom stated this boat/hull was not for 'newbies' " and was 70+ mph (never did see anything to back that comment up)

Just wondering because I have built a few twins (7) and a few friends and myself were POed at you and Tom for your comments, definitely made me Not Interested in Tom's boats anymore as we are not 'experts' like u and Tom.

So up here we will leave the Expresscraft for the 'experts'

Maybe another 15 years in the hobby and I'll be a expert too.......

Have a good 1 and Welcome to MGB

Hope your new hull holds up .....

Gets down the pond pretty quickly ... looks to have a tough time holding a good edge while cornering at WOT having quite a bit of slide going on.
Other than that power to burn for sure ! thanks for sharing .... Nice !

BTW,

It flexed the sponsons enough to push off some quarter sized pieces of gel coat from the running surfaces. It is running that way in the video.

And yes, i ran the new carbon boat last sunday.
I'm not responsible for Tom's comments. If my attempt to interpret what Tom's intent was POed you and your friends... Get over it. If it takes you another 15 years to develop some skills, you must be a slow learner. I've be interested in model boats since 1978 and for sure am no expert.

I had no further response to you on the dock. Because you appeared looking for a fight ( as your are here) and to be the sort of internet jerk off i tend to ignore.
I have had a bunch of twins. All nitro riggers with 65 or 90 power.

I am having a great day and thanks for the welcome!

I'm quite sure my new boat will be just fine.

Makes more sense seeing how HARD engine would pull down the back stretch left to right ... Ponds needs to get bigger !!

I took your advice. Lengthned the pipes on the new boat... And proceded to kill three flex cables. The 520's are testing the limits of 1/4'' hardware.

The first two blew up about 3 1/2" from the collet. in a straight part of the tube Second one took the front of the radio box off. I caught the third before if came apart. It had a kink in it, same place. It looked like it may started to whip around, heating up that part of the tube.
I just finished replacing another tube. This time i added a 4" long bushing to better support the straight run of the cable. Going to try this in the morning.
