More testing!

Moof.

Your'e right. Too much power isn't enough. You have to control it, and the biggest issue will be to avoid "chine walking" (designing the right bottom strakes), and angle to the surface at high speed (trimming by drives and flaps).
If I get the bottom strakes right, it should take a few test drives before I can present a movie with top speed results, that should make you drop your draw!
(Wow! What am I gettin' into here)???

Cheers! :cheer:

Woodie, I put a bottom hull shot on one of the other threads.
Strakes won't stop chine walking. Its about trim, power - maybe too much.
All hulls can only take so much power.
Strakes could make it worse as if they lift the hull too much you'll be floating around on the surface. IMO I would not run them to the back.
You want smooth hull there for flow over the props & rudder.
You also want to ensure that the strakes are not in front of your props, so if you are going to put on strakes, plan where your drives will come out first.
