Ok fellas, got my new skiff in. It has a flat bottom on it so I need to know... Do I need to go with a submerged drive system, and if so, how far below the water line should the centerline of the prop be? And should I go with 30% rule, or should it be a little less? Thanks in advance for any help given.

Hi! Jimmy Geiger gave me some tips on my Aeromarine skiff, I'll see if I cant dig them up for you. I believe the strut should be 1" below the bottom, with a 1 deg neg, motor as close to the front bulkhead (remember -Aeromarine, not sure if yours is an Aeromarine hull), rudder should be level (some skiffs have a slanted transom), tabs slightly above or even with the bottom.
