Hi guys,
Have been setting up and testing the new Lrx hydro from Lakeracer boats newzealand over the last couple of months , been running it with an evo rear ex that I have been slowly modifying and developing for it.
Have just given it another run yesterday after changing to a new turn shape that Mike and I have been working on and a few other minor changes, put it out for a run and Imediately new that there was going to be a good number on the gps, and sure enough when I brought it back in 111kph (68.9mph), not record setting pace just yet but there is plenty more I can do with props and setup.
She certainly behaved better with the new shaped turnfin, being a bit smaller it freed her up a bit.
Of all the hydros that I have had over the years this is the most stable in a bit of wind,I just need to make some fine adjustments with trim and it should be a competitive coursing hull.
Thanks to Scott Schneider and Andrew O'neil for all their advice about engine mods, I have learnt alot of valueble stuff over the past few months, and a big thanks to Mike Dean of Lakeracer Boats in Newzealand,I can see him selling alot of hydros if they go like this one does.
Will try and get some video of it running posted in the next couple of weeks so you guys know im not telling fibs LoL
