Carb Mods.

painman created the topic: Carb Mods.

Scott, I noticed some where in the forms where someone spoke about mods to the 644 carb. Said they bored the face and did a self mod on the carb, but I can't find it again.
Do you know what he was talking about? and are there any pic's of this being done. I have thought about using a large reemer, do you think this would work or will i ruin a good carb.
Your opinion would be appreciated.

Thanks Randy

Thanks for checking; I have another motor question if you don't mind. What is a good squish for the motor that you show how to mod. a 26 Zen.I got a dial indicator and was checking and I am at .028" i know that is way to high. Also where does a stock motor squish? I would guess this is close to stock with the .018" gasket. Put more run time on motor this afternoon.
Thanks for your time;

Randy
