:bye: Hi,
You can gain speed from a simple carb change ie. walbro 257 to all out racing engine mods. There are plenty on this web site listed on the right hand side of the home page. Just about all these guys are easy to talk to and deal with.
Hope this helps.

257 Carb, lightened piston, advnaced timing, IV Bag, 2 inch band pipe and the right prop. Biggest difference for me was having someone at my lake with a bunch of props to try. If you can't get the RPMs tearing up the water right, she's not going to go fast IMHO.

Yep, a good start is with the engine companies listed on the main page. Also as stated, the right prop will make all the difference in the world. Get in touch with Brent at Propworks West (also on main page) and tell him what engine/pipe/hull combo you have and he should be able to make it rock! I have been using his props for a while now and they have really lit up some of my boats. He's pretty busy though, so plan ahead! Well worth it though...no doubt about it! :drinks:
