Picked up another motor that looked interesting today! I stripped her down and cleaned it up to see what I was working with. The case says GILARDONI made in Italy, The carby is a Borg Warner butterfly style made in Ireland and the mag. wheel is Repco made in USA! The pull starter has JET400 EFCO ITALY on it if that also helps? Im pretty sure its at least 40cc and is really a nicely built clean engine! Heres some pics!

Only seen those coils before ... Phelon if memory is right ?
As for the rest of that engine ... never seen one state side.

Well spotted Scott!:clapping: Indeed the coil is 'Phelon' lol! this thing has parts from everywhere, Hopefully some of the guys over in Europe might be able to shed some light on this engine? I actually got it started without a problem and even stock with the box muffler this thing does rev well!:diablo: I will have to throw my timing wheel on and find out what the stock settings are just out of interest.
