A lot of people use the CY engines. They are especially popular in the stock classes as they put out more HP stock than a stock Zenoah. I personally do not care much for them because of their low speed traits ( I find them extremely hard to "put" to the start line) and I feel the quality is inferior to the Zenoah engine. This is just my opinion though...there are many running them successfully. Another alternative on the market now is the RCMK engines. They seem to be making very good power in stock form.

I wouldn't qualify it as junk, just maybe not quite up to par with Zenoahs on the reliability side. They do produce more stock hp though. I think if you keep them stock they can be reliable, but many have reported breakdowns after modding them. Scott Schneider has worked with them considerably, maybe he will give his input also.

Hate re-typing what has been hashed so many times before, so short and sweet just one tuners opinion.
The CY / Sikk is a mixed splash of designs taking ZENOAH RC-231/260 engine design and G-231/260 PU design into a hybrid than shares traits of both, but is neither

The combo makes a very potent engine in stock form outperforming either engine it copied, but falls short on reliability due too sub quality casting material quality and using a 2 bolt cylinder design.

Nuf said .... best bang for the buck and really quite an AWESOME engine is the RCMK S-254 :dance2:, the EVO being the latest version that is quite honestly State of the art for a production engine of it's type !!
