after playing with nitro ,i'm interested in a fast gas hydro . so i think i will get a areomarine thunderbolt . Is it better to start out with a stock engine or moded one . how fast would a stock zenoah g26 go compared to a moded one.

Fast gas hydro.... Wood Whiplash.. surely should run lower 60's with a stock 260. They are just flat out ballastic with a mod motor :diablo:

There are no gears, so 1:1 ratio. Prop spins same speed as engine.

I would suggest you contact Brent at Propworks West. He can get you setup with a real good prop. Will cost more than stock, but you will be surprised what a difference it makes to have a good prop. Not sure of your background with props, but if you've never own a professionally done prop you should get a few...then if you want to tweak on some yourself, you will at least have an idea what you should be shooting for.
