In my ugly duckling of a beat around boat, I'm running a 30cc Homelite engine, i'd like to re-configure it a bit & wanted to know if its possible to change where the exhaust port is. Currently my exhaust port faces the nose of the boat & the carb faces the right side (looking from the back of the boat towards the nose). Can the head be simply turned 90 degrees to acomplish this? Not too worried if it can't be turned as i've run it this way for awhile. (and I'm considering a new engine over the winter months)

Sorry but NO, Transfer ports would not line up to cases and piston would also need to be changed if you even could.
