Hi,I wanted to know if Zen or sik make a rear exaust and front carb motor like RCMK does?..Because is it looks my boyfriend now want to get that type of motor..He doesnt like humps sticking out the side of his hydro cowl..

No, neither Zenoah or CY/Sikk make them.

Actually RCMK make a RCMK/Zenoah (4 bearing) rear exhaust kit, primarily using the Zenoah cylinder and quite a few Zenoah parts. It is advertised stating that it revs to 19000 with a standard Zenoah cylinder. I do not know about the rev limit, as I the battery in my tacho has died and I must get a newie. I am using one at the moment with a modified culinder and it seems comparable with my other moded engines. The beauty of this style is any one of the manufactureres cylinders and other engine parts can just "Drop In". It is called the "RX254 Zenoah Rear Exhaust Kit"

As far as RE conversions, J&G sell's a kit to do it. ALL the "Conversions" are more costly than the RE version of the RCMK.
So on a Cost verses what you get, VERY expensive !!

So it sounds like to me the RCMK is the best ticket in the price wise compartment..It's going into a Moded proboat 1/8 hydro..He's got the hull race legal and now wants to ditch the side humps on the cowl..He moving the motor 4"adhead..Thats the farest they can move the motor head....This sould help in the CG..since therealittle tail heavy in the first place..So the only way to ditch posible side humps in the cowl for carb&exaust is to go with the front carb&rear exaust motor..

True enough on engine placement helping CG, but at the end of the day it is still the pro boat hull which is not really worthy of the RCMK or any hopped up engine.

Don't want to burst your bubble helping the BF, but so many have tried to make the pro boat into a hull it's not, with most if not all falling short of being satisfied after the cost and effort.

What Scott says is right it can get expensive. I got mine through HPM (High Performance Motors in New Zealand) They still show them on their website, I do not have the wesite address at the moment ,I will put it up if you wish or just google it.I live in Australia and the currency rates are good cmpared to the NZ dollar, in the U.S it will be even better. I went this way because I wanted some thing different to try. Hope tis helps with your decision.

Scott,My boyfriend got the hull for paint manyhobbies PI...So that nothing to us on cost of the hull...Manyhobbies is helping Joe out on the setup..I havent seen anyone moved that motor that much head Joe is moving the motor 4 1/4 ahead..Plus this boat has a adjustable strut and a better rudder setup too...This boat should be better&faster then when it was stock..The RCMK with that setup goes for 399...comes with belt starter setup with motor mounts and volistystack.oh plus free shipping..If joe love the racing,then he'll get a better hull like a insane hydro..After seeing the races in Celina ,some guys race too agressevly cossing accidents do to big ego's or vendeta's or stupiedy...I know what your saying Scott about guys trying to make a pro hull work..But we're give it a shot...
