As the person who FIRST built one for our Zenoah engines sharing it on JRCBD, The piston you reference is a further modified copy of that R&D.

Really a GREAT design, but applied badly using the quite thin CY castings they are selling. There piston surely works, but IMO is VERY VERY fragile.
The design has held up well within engines using modified Zenoah 260 pistons which led to the design being doable because of the casting webs and support within the 260 piston.

My first engines using that piston design date back to @ 2003 or so shortly after the 4 port Zenoahs came to market.
