How much oil for a J&G??

I picked up a used J&G Gen 1 motor with little runtime on it. I've heard that I should be using 10oz of oil per gallon. :ohmy: Is that right?

I've been running 8 per gallon in both of mine with high octane pump gas.

J&G recommend High Octane pump gasoline with quality two-stroke synthetic oil at a ratio of 10oz per US Gallon of gasoline. Honda HP-2 oil is recommended.
