Hello,
The Champion plugs have a problem with the porcelain around the electrode cracking and falling into the engine after they have been in a engine that has been dunked and taken in water. The NGK plugs have shown to be more tolerant to this type of environment.

The NGK iridium plugs may also be good for a slight power increase. It's hard to see, and won't give a noticeable speed increase, but the average of several recent dyno runs comparing plugs shows it.

I agree NGK plugs make more power on dyno. Not a huge gain but every little bit helps!
