what are these kits like and how good do thay perform.

HAS ENNY ONE PURCHASED THIS MOTOR OR KIT . AND HAD TRUBBLE GETTING IT TO RUN......
IS THIS SELLER A PROFESSIONAL OR A BACK YARDER ...
I PERCHASED A KIT AND IT DIDENT WORK . SENT IT BACK WITH MY STOCK MOTOR . THAY SENT ME OUT A REPLACMENT MOTOR . BUT THIS MOTOR IS JUST AS SLOW . MY OLD STOCK MOTOR IN THE SAME BOAT ACTULY GOES FASTER THEN THERE CLAMMED FULL MOD MOTOR. THAY EVEN CLAM THAT IT IS RAN ON A DYNO AND PRODUCES OVER 6.42 HP. AND IS A HIGH TOUQE MOTOR . BUT WHEN MOTOR IS RAN IN BOAT IT IS SLOWER THEN STOCK MOTOR AND HAS NO BOTTOM END POWER OR POWER OUT OF HOLE SHOT....

to what is actual at this location: 85+ degrees and Humidity at 65%+

What is Corrected Horsepower?

We have all seen and made claims of an engine’s horsepower. However, this stated horsepower is almost never what the engine actually made for power. How can that be? Most of the stated horsepower numbers are “Corrected” values. The correction standards were developed to discount the observed horsepower readings taken at different locations and weather conditions. It is obvious that an engine builder in Colorado could not produce as much horsepower as a shop at sea level. There is just less oxygen for the engine to burn at the higher altitude. What are less obvious are the other weather condition effects on the engine. So in order to compensate for this all advertised horsepower is “corrected” to several different industry standards where the engine was dynoed.



Don't be fooled by other so called ported cylinders or kits...

Most of them are just a simple stroke with a dremel and a sanding wheel to look different than stock with maybe a slight change in shape of any port that is too conservative to make the ultimate difference!

I have never tried their motors, or ever heard of them before this post started. I can tell you right now, the 7.74hp claim has me turning away...I sure would like for them to send me one so I can test and compare it! :laugh:

i know when i perchased the original barrel . and had problems . and i stupidly set them the hole motor back . and thay sent me ther so called full mod motor back at no expence . so i thort that was ok . but now to have there hole motor . thats notable to push a boat ennywhere near as fast as a stock motor . and to say it has less touque then a stock motor as its in a diffrent corve range . is just nuts. also when new motor arived the fly wheel keyway was a of set one and was snapped so we had to replace that . now you think that thay would run the motor after its been dynoed just to check that alls ok with it.
well ive now found a great engine builder that ill be dealing with from now on. and i know his motor will be able to push a 50 thundercat or 56inch apache along at a good rate of speed. and not just have dyno charts claming this or vids of boats with ther mods doing great speed.... it realy sucks that this so called profeshanal builders can get away with claming that there motors can do this or that but then once you get the motor it clearly dosent do the job..or thay blame it on that the motor has a difent touqe cerve.
one day marc if i get the time ill email or post some pics of the extreem mods done to the barrel and the intake and exaust ports... to extreem im gessing . and thats probly why thay run ok and rev high on a work bench /""dyno"" but not in real time / in a boat of a desent size. :( :( :( :( and when a stock motor with only a 257 carb can out run it well you/ i realy relize i wasted my monney getting one..haha.....:(



:( :( and i bet ill perobly never hear from them , as thay were verry help full at the start but now dont rely want to know about it ..... just keep blaming the set up . but its stange that every other mod motor ive instaled in mates boat from diffrent engine builders and boats of the same size . go like rockets and perform with out much adjusments at all.....
