What are you setting the clearance of the red coil at, does it matter?
Spark plug gap, is it that important?

Tim, start the plug gap around .015" and take a standard business card and wrap it around the flywheel, then butt the red primary coil to it and tighten it up. To little gap could result in contact, to much and it will not fire the plug correctly. Plug gap: to little will have negative effects on tuning and the ground on the plug can shroud the flame from a complete strong burn. To much gap will be hard to start, idle and can result in high speed missfires. IMO .012" to .020" tops. Everyone will have different opinions and setups for their engines. End result will be what performs best for your setup. Have fun.

No prob Tim. Start at the .015" and see how the eng runs. If it is a bit rough regap to .018". I hope to have fun. Having last min issues with my mono. Always a last min issue to stress me out. Lol
