"By the way blooper on my first post third picture went unnoticed."
Would that blooper be the flywheel mounted to wrong side of CR crank not on stud side? :pinch:

Installing TK flywheel on a zenoah case. The TK flywheel is smaller diameter so have to use TK coils that don't mount to the zenoah case, so mount has to be made, I thought I could use a secondary coil bracket to hold both coils.

Randy the primary coil mounting plate is what I'm thinking of but on the outside of the flywheel. RMCK makes a similar plate for the sx254 also a "tuning" plate for Zenoah. The newer QD plate is side mount coil don't think that would work.
following are the 2 RCMK plates

The plate would allow the mounting of smaller dia. flywheels and their coils.

I was once told that the lighter flywheel would allow faster spool up / acceleration. It should not affect HP or top RPM.

this is what I'm thinking of doing

doesnt look like video link worked

you can turn the flywheel on a lathe to lighten it also drill it out. BUT not advisable because they explode. So people use RMCK, Power Spark, CY or in my case I want to develope a Tiger King option.
