Tiger King specifications

Well, I received my new TK. I was hoping to get some sort of spec sheet in the box...NOT. Here is the thousand dollar question.
If I open this engine up to check it out. What are the torque specs to put it back together again? Is there a general service manual for this engine?

This is what I was told! Tighten all the engine bolts in a criss cross pattern as you would on any other motor, the Head Button bolts should be tighten every little at a time in a staggered criss cross pattern 6-8 times is not over doing it, till tight. Coat all internal parts with a high temp ant-size, make sure you coat the sleeve and head bolts so they will come out later, run clean water through motor after each time out, you can flush the motor out with a rust inhibitor, use different lines to the motor as some inhibitors can make your water lines swell. I was told these TK's are not Zen's and you won't get away putting them away wet! So too speak!

Louis,
That isn't quite what I was telling you should be done.. The anti seize is only on the button head/water jacket bolts. Not all over inside. You need bare metal inside for the water to remove the heat properly.
You want the sleeve to be metal to metal for heat transfer but at the top of sleeve a thin narrow coat of high temp silicone needs to be added or water pressure can push water or the crankcase pulses can pull water down between the sleeve and case and rust it and maybe even pull it down into the crankcase.

For most of the bolts you can use something like the Zenoah specs of same size and purpose bolts or compare it by sizes and lengths.

Except the button like Louis mentioned there is nothing more important than they be tightened evenly and when you get to the last time of going back and forth around the button tightening them you can feel when the stretch and crush is gone and just stop as you feel this coming on as you normally would any bolt you weren't actually using a torque wrench on. You could do the last couple round with a in.lb. torque wrench and use a 4mm X .70 bolt torque like maybe what is uses for the source coil mount bolts for a Zenoah.

They are same size and length. Zenoah specs can be found easily.

Thanks for the info. I have been known to be too strong and strip out the odd thread. Should I worry about replacing bolts every tear down? When I bought the engine I made sure I had some spare parts.

Sent an email to tj models asking about a manual... I think we all know the answer... NA.
EDIT When it comes to "crush" washers do they need to be replaced every time they are removed?
